Representation of symbolic Akasaka’s traditional culture
The festival will also feature a Geisha dance by Ikuko Akasaka, the first geisha to be awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, and a parade by Akasaka geisha, the symbol of Akasaka, as well as an exhibition of Hikawa floats. The “town” itself will be used as a stage for the full expression of Akasaka’s traditional culture.
