Street installation, questioning genuine sustainability

“YUIMA NAKAZATO, the only Japanese fashion designer participating in the Paris Couture Collection, held its first solo exhibition “BEYOND COUTURE” in France this June. In conjunction with the solo exhibition, the brand held an “street installation” where visitors could see couture outfits made of materials from Spiber, a bio-venture company that develops environmentally friendly and sustainable next-generation materials. This spring, under the concept of NEO CHAOS, the exhibition will question what is sustainable from the streets of Shibuya, which has been the birthplace of fashion trends.
