Re:Vintage Shinjuku: Where Eras Intersect Tie-Dye Art Workshop: Modern Shibori
Redyed and Reborn — The Vintage of the Future
A dyeing workshop that fuses Shinjuku’s traditional dyeing industry with vintage clothing culture through the sensibility of contemporary artist Kodai Yasuno. Using tie-dye techniques with rubber bands and other tools to create patterns, participants will reimagine garments they have brought from home or vintage pieces purchased at the venue. Stains and fading are reframed as character, transforming each piece into “FUTURE VINTAGE.”
