The stool made from part of taiko, japanese drum, that could not become a Finished product.
The stool on display at the exhibition is “The Curve” by Unosuke Miyamoto Shoten, a taiko manufacturer in Asakusa, Tokyo. The stool is a reproduction of a part of the body of a taiko that could not be made into a taiko because of cracks, irreparable spots, or insect bites found in the process of making the taiko.
