Where Culture Meets Craft
This is a retrospective exhibition of works from Singaporean design store “Supermama”, which were created over 14 years of collaboration between Singaporean designers and Japanese artisans.
The fusion of Singapore’s multicultural design perspective and Japan’s consistent dedication to craftsmanship has invoked a kind of magic – giving rise to a new material culture imbued with wonder and familiarity.
